A good connection with your psychologist is the most important ingredient to successful counselling outcomes. You need to be able to feel safe and comfortable in your counselling sessions, and that is why Compassion Culture offers free 15 minute video or telephone consultations to ensure a good client-counsellor fit.


Individual Counselling Session

Individual sessions are personalized one-on-one counselling sessions with a Registered Psychologist (offering to adults only at this time). This includes EMDR, PERINATAL & MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH, FAITH BASED COUNSELLING and any other INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING goals Compassion Culture can provide services for.


Parent Coaching & Counselling

Parent Coaching & Counselling sessions are with a Registered Psychologist, focused on supporting parents in the early years (newborn through elementary school age), with a variety of counselling goals, in order to become more equipped with the skills needed to nurture the parent-child relationship.


Couple's Counselling

Couples counselling focuses on supporting couples to improve connection, communication, emotional safety, deepen intimacy, resolve conflict & heal their relationship. Couples counselling with Compassion Culture is informed by Emotionally Focused Couples Counselling as well as the Gottman Method.

My passion for the work that I do as a psychologist began many years ago through my own journey of seeking counselling support. It was such a gift to have someone sit with me and hold space for the emotional pain I was in, no rushing, no quick fixes, just a compassionate presence to guide me toward healing. This is what I aspire to offer you!

My main therapeutic approach is Emotion Focused Therapy. The goal of this evidenced based approach is to guide you into a more productive relationship with your emotions. Emotions are a normal and central part of the human experience, and are often related to emotional needs that are not always obvious.

With that said, I believe that every client is different and may need different approaches to meet their counselling goals, therefore, here is a list of additional evidence based approaches that inform my counselling practice:
